Active fundraising and an increase in like for like sales in our charity shop, meant we were able to generate additional funds to support one of our local projects.
Inside the new polytunnel, salads and other biodynamic vegetables are starting to grow, and the garden and volunteers have been in desperate need of good quality tools.
Our charity has now purchased brand new professional Crocodile garden tools, folding chairs and a new metal table for the volunteers to enjoy a cuppa during a much needed break.
This phase is now completed, but other plans need to be finalized, and the charity will be generating as much money to support this local project. So please shop with us, in support of the Biodynamic Garden at Camserney.
Thanks to visitors and locals shopping with us, the charity donated a new petrol strimmer this month August 2016 to the Bio Dynamic Garden in Camserney.
The Bio Dynamic Garden has now been producing a variety of salads, and demand for this produce has been growing. Several local businesses have been using the salads now, and also locals and visitors a like have been purchasing salads at the Deli in Aberfeldy, and are amazed at the taste and quality of this chemical free product, produced locally.
Our charity will be ongoing supporting this local project, as other facilities at Camserney are needed, so please continue to shop with us in support of this project.
Last year with the installation of a new poly tunnel , the volunteers have been producing bio dynamic vegetables and held several work shops and open days.
Our charity in 2016 donated new tables , chairs and parasols so that the volunteers could sit and have a cuppa during their hard work in the field and the tunnel.
Thanks to your shopping, the charity was able to purchase new crocodile professional garden tools and a new petrol strimmer, which was badly needed.
This local project will be needing more volunteers to help with the project as more produce and weeding will be needed in 2017 and in the future.
The first produce last year was sold to restaurants, tea rooms and locals .
